Job Description
Role and Responsibilities
- Preparation for production: includes but not limited to:
- Research all relevant terms and conditions in the project contract in order to prepare technical proposal, document and project execution plan; propose fabrication methods so as to ensure the quality requirements; Detect, discover and report to the authority about complex technical requirements in order to have appropriate solutions.
- Based on work volume (including MTO, the number of equipment, which need to be installed . . .), overall project schedule; procurement schedule and goods delivery schedule and norms approved by the Company Director, calculate the resources for fabrication, including manpower, equipment, tools, consumable materials, storages, yards . . .
- Make appropriate detail plans for each work item in line with the overall project schedule.
- Review and deal with relevant project disciplines like QAQC, HSE, in terms of production procedures, HSE regulations . . . in order to have appropriate improvement in line with the practical status.
- Organize and allocate tasks and scope of work to individuals.
- Report to the authority the status and the consequence of work completion.
- Complete other tasks assigned by the authority.
- Monitoring the fabrication process but not limited to
- Based on the proposed project plans and prepared construction resources, allocate, instruct and expedite the discipline and individuals to complete tasks; based on the project execution plans, monitor and update fabrication progress and schedule to have appropriate problem solving and planning adjustments when there is a delay in engineering and procurement. The aim of such a task is to ensure work volume in line with project schedule.
- Control fabrication resources to ensure the effectiveness as well as the product quality. Control construction resources including main and auxiliary materials to ensure the lowest cost and protect from loss and waste.
- Ensure HSE conditions during fabrication process.
- Closely control contract terms and conditions relating to the assigned scope of work to detect, discover and solve any matters arising out of the signed contract, in order to direct relevant documents, record and completion with the aim of calculating arising costs with the client.
- Direct final document completion and product hand over.
- Report to the authorities/ clients on work completion schedule.
- Complete other tasks assigned by authorities.
- Deep understood work pack/ job card which issued by Subcontractor before ready offshore work.
- Hold a meeting with relevant disciplines to resolve all critical issues in proactive.
- Other responsibilities: When required by Project Manager
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor or higher in appropriate technical fields: Mechatronic, Process and Mechanical
Experience of Mechanical & Piping
Foreign Language: Fluent in use
Computer: Fluent in use Microsoft Office and other relevant professional software products.

• Advanced training courses of Piping & Mechanical
• Other relevant software products
• Advanced project management skills
Other skills
• Have knowledge of oil & gas exploration and exploitation.
• Have deep knowledge of P&M system.
• Seize standards, norms and procedures of P&M construction, fabrication and installation.
• Seize standards, norms and procedures of HSE.
• Have execution and operation skills as well as coordination in production.
• Proactive and flexible in problem solving.
